Nestled right on the edge of Lake Atitlan in Santa Cruz La Laguna, Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments offer stunning views of the surrounding volcanoes. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and kayak access throughout their stay.

Since the only way to get here is by boat from Panajachel, the apartments provide a peaceful escape. Each unit features a spacious lounge area, a dining setup, and a private terrace overlooking the lake. The bathrooms come with a shower and toilet.

Be sure to stop by our newly opened nearby spot, Okaniko restaurant. They serve a plant-based menu with a few chicken dishes, open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with last orders at 8:00 PM.

Keep in mind that during windy seasons, heavy storms, or busy periods, power cuts can happen in the Lake Atitlan area. This is due to a fragile electrical grid, often overloaded transformers, or fallen trees on lines. While these are beyond our control, we act quickly to notify the power company and have a backup generator that operates on a rotation to keep essential services running. Please note that when the electricity goes out, so do the Wi-Fi and hot water.

The on-site manager is happy to help arrange excursions such as lake tours, hiking trips, kayaking adventures, or even paragliding. Guatemala City’s La Aurora International Airport is about 115 km away.
