Just a kilometer from La Spezia Centrale Station, Hotel Birillo sits within a 10-minute stroll of both the harbor and the Gulf of La Spezia. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby, while the rooms themselves are modestly sized and neatly furnished, each equipped with a TV and en-suite bathroom—plus, most come with a balcony and air conditioning.
The front desk team is happy to share tips on excursions to the Cinque Terre, Lerici, and Portovenere, and they’ll hold your bags if you need to roam before check-in or after checkout. Riomaggiore, the closest of the five hilltop villages, lies 15 km away and is a straightforward train ride from the station, while Portovenere is just 12 km off. On-site, there’s free parking right in front of the building.
Couples are especially fond of this spot, giving it an 8.9 rating for two-person getaways.
