Nestled in the heart of picturesque Beaminster, The Ollerod is surrounded by breathtaking countryside. This former priest’s residence, dating back 700 years, is rich with history and character, providing award-winning stays.
The property blends traditional charm with log fires set in ancient inglenook fireplaces, stone-mullioned windows, oak beams, and soft candlelight. While the original exterior remains unchanged, the interiors are sleek and contemporary.
Perfect for a last-minute getaway or marking a special milestone, The Ollerod features nine individually designed bedrooms—spanning sleek modern to timeless English elegance. Each room includes a private bathroom, luxurious Wild England organic eco toiletries crafted in Dorset, and premium Italian bed linens.
Conveniently located near Dorset’s fossil-rich Jurassic Coast, you can explore natural gems like Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, and Lyme Regis during your stay.
Couples especially love the setting, awarding it a 9.0 rating for two-person trips.
