Set among 100 hectares of olive groves and vineyards, the 14th-century Castello Di Gabbiano is a historic castle turned working farm. Its rooms are decorated in a Tuscan Renaissance style, featuring rustic terracotta floors and wooden furniture, with air conditioning available during the summer. Guests can explore trekking paths through the vineyards, relax in a large garden with an outdoor swimming pool, or enjoy daily wine tastings. Florence is 22 km away.
Breakfast includes Tuscan specialties and is served in one of the drawing rooms or outdoors in the garden. From April to November, lunch and dinner are available from Tuesday evening through Sunday evening at the restaurant located 70 metres from the property.
Couples especially appreciate the location, rating it 9.6 for two-person trips.
