Chateau de la Vieille Chapelle

Nestled in Lugon et L’Ile du Carney and surrounded by the estate’s AOC Bordeaux vineyards, Château de La Vieille Chapelle is a restored 12th-century Roman chapel featuring a garden and terrace with direct views of the Dordogne River. Guests can enjoy complimentary wine tastings of estate-selected wines every evening starting at 18:30. Additional wine-tasting experiences are available in Saint-Emilion, just a 30-minute drive away.

Each room has been crafted within the original chapel ruins and offers direct garden access. They include heated tile flooring, a wardrobe, a large bed, and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Decorated with subtle Asian accents in soft tones, the rooms feature linen curtains and bedding. One room is fully adapted for guests with disabilities.

A continental breakfast with homemade jams and French pastries is served every morning.

The shared sitting room provides tea, coffee, a kettle, wine glasses, wine-tasting equipment, and local guidebooks. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, along with complimentary on-site private parking.
