Shymbulak Resort Hotel

The hotel stands on Gornaya Street in Almaty, beside the ski elevators of Shymbulak Ski Resort, inside the Ile-Alatau National Park. The surrounding area is known for mountain terrain, glaciers and high-altitude lakes above the city.
The ski slopes of Shymbulak begin about 130 m from the property, and the Medeu sports complex is roughly 3.8 km away. Abay Glacier lies some 4.2 km off, Abay mountain about 4.3 km and Amankeldy mountain around 4.5 km. Almaty peak stands at a distance of 5.6 km, while Big Almaty Lake is about 11.7 km away. Almaty International Airport is 25.3 km from the hotel.
