Roskilde Danhostel is a hostel housed in a uniquely designed building on Roskilde's harbour along the Roskilde Inlet. It has rooms with private bathroom and flat-screen TV, and every booking includes bed linen and one towel. A breakfast buffet is served daily, packed lunches can be arranged, and laundry facilities are available. Free public parking is provided. The town centre and the train station are about a 20-minute walk away.

Location
The hostel stands by the water on Vindeboder in Roskilde, roughly 20 minutes on foot from the centre and the station. The harbour and inlet shape the immediate surroundings, with the Viking Ship Museum next door and Roskilde Cathedral a 10-minute walk away. Several restaurants lie within a few minutes' walk. The Roskilde Festival site is about 2.2 mi from the property. Farther out, National Park Skjoldungernes Land is about 6 km away and Copenhagen Roskilde Airport about 8 km.

Rooms
All rooms come with a private bathroom, a seating area, a TV, heating and a wardrobe, and upper floors are reached by stairs. Bed linen is included. Four hotel rooms have one double bed; the remaining rooms have single beds and bunk beds. There are no common rooms, so a room is used only by the people booked into it.

Standard Suite: 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds, city view.

Free wifi covers the smoke-free property, which has non-smoking and family rooms and facilities for disabled guests, including a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a lowered sink and a toilet with grab rails. A shared kitchen and a shared lounge with TV are available, along with a terrace, picnic area and outdoor play equipment. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out from 07:00. Electric vehicle charging and accessible parking are on site.
