Set in the heart of Avignon, Hôtel du Palais des Papes sits directly opposite the iconic Palais des Papes. The property spans three floors and enjoys the calm of a fully pedestrianized area. Once the Spanish Consulate, this building is now a protected historical monument, lovingly preserved by the same family since 1921. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout.
The guest rooms here are comfortable and air-conditioned, each featuring a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Many rooms also offer stunning views over either the Palais des Papes or the lively Place de l’Horloge.
For dining, the on-site restaurant Maison Gayte/Lutrin serves a rotating seasonal menu inspired by traditional Provençal cuisine, with something new to discover each visit.
You can reach the famous Pont d’Avignon in just a five-minute walk, while Avignon Central Train Station is only 15 minutes away on foot.
