Tucked away just off the coastal trail connecting Charmouth and Lyme Regis, this Georgian country house offers sweeping views over the Dorset countryside and its surrounding woodlands.
Each room at Fernhill Hotel comes with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with DVD players, and crisp Egyptian cotton bedding. The en-suite bathrooms are stocked with White Co. toiletries and fresh white towels.
The property runs a Zero Waste kitchen, so they ask guests to confirm meal selections in advance to avoid over-preparing food. Both breakfast and à la carte dinner are served seven days a week, with gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan choices always on the menu.
On-site amenities include a seasonal outdoor heated pool, set within sprawling grounds filled with woodland, meadows, and ponds.
It's especially popular with couples, who give the location a standout rating of 8.8 out of 10 for two-person getaways.

The proximity to the coast path and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is also very eco friendly with its own spring water.
