About Kayak Lodge

Kayak Lodge is set in a protected mangrove forest, 5 miles from Islas Damas on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast. Specializing in kayak or boat excursions through the mangroves, the hotel has an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Guests can make phone calls from rooms for local calls, room-to-room and calls to the USA and Canada (extra charge).

The accommodation is surrounded by tropical wildlife. White-faced monkeys visit balconies, and you can see crocodiles, iguanas and turtles, as well as tropical birds and other animals. Air-conditioned rooms have satellite TV and a private bathroom with a shower. Some have a balcony and a minibar.

You can hire a car from the Kayak Lodge's front desk. The hotel has a souvenir shop and offers a massage service. Activities such as canopy tours, rafting, horseback riding, catamaran boat tours, ATVs tour and sport fishing can be arranged.

Biesanz Beach is 20 minute's drive away, Matapalo Beach is 30 minutes' drive away and Palo Seco Beach is a 35-minute drive away. Manuel Antonio National Park is just 15 miles away. Due to the lack of public transportation, we recommend to arrive by car.

Our overall score combines reviews from our booking partners, summarised in our own words, with reviews written directly on Housity. Every review shows where it comes from.

Partner reviews: only guests who completed a stay through one of our booking partners can review there. We read those reviews and summarise them in our own words, so they are not word-for-word quotes and we don't show guest names. The score shown is the property's score on that partner's site; when several partners …
Housity reviews: sent through the form on this page and shown as the guest wrote them. We check them before publishing, but we can't always confirm the stay.
