Hotel Maribel

Perched at 2,250 metres, Maribel is an Alpine-style chalet in Sierra Nevada that blends high-altitude adventures both on and off the slopes—perfect for families, friends, and winter sports lovers. This refined ski-in/ski-out lifestyle hotel offers direct access to the Maribel and Águila runs, with 29 Alpine-inspired rooms and suites, including the signature Maribel Penthouse Suite.

Guests can craft the ideal mountain day through a curated mix of sport, wellness, and dining. The lounge and bar feature a ski-in/ski-out terrace, creating a unique après-ski vibe, while the restaurant delivers a 'dining club' atmosphere with Alpine touches. There’s also a Nordic-inspired spa where tired muscles recover under the open sky.

Each guest room and suite—playfully named Maricarmen or Marisol—comes beautifully appointed, most with balconies and panoramic slope views. Duplex suites are thoughtfully designed for families or small groups. Warm, welcoming interiors feature Finnish wood, leather furniture, faux-fur throws, plush king beds, seating areas, floor-to-ceiling ski wardrobes, Chromecast Smart TVs, and heated wooden floors. Bathrooms are indulgent with rainfall showers, spa baths, Natura Bissé products, and signature robes and slippers. A selection of minibar items is also included.

From arrival, the sweeping elliptical staircase defines the buzzing lobby. An open-plan library, bar, and lounge flow into one inviting space. The sun-drenched outdoor terrace, with ski-in/ski-out access to the Maribel and Águila slopes, is perfect for hot chocolate or sundowners during golden hour. The restaurant serves hearty dishes and mountain classics in a relaxed, late-night atmosphere, with standout decoration by Stevani & Silva—think dark, warm hues, velvet textures, a gold leaf bar, a snake-shaped sofa, and hanging fireplaces. It’s a prime spot for dinner with a view.

As Sierra Nevada’s ultimate ski-and-snow destination, Maribel sits just 50 metres from the Parador No. 1 chairlift and a few metres from sister hotel El Lodge. Located in the Sierra Nevada national park ski village, the resort boasts one of southern Europe’s largest ski areas—110 km of slopes across 131 runs, including the Iberian Peninsula’s highest at 3,400 metres. There’s also a Snow Park for freestyle boarding and skiing, plus cross-country trails.
