About The New Inn

Newly renovated, this 18th-century coaching inn is in the quiet village of Clapham, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. It has original character, free parking, a restaurant and 2 bars.

The The New Inn is off the A65 Leeds to Kendal/Lake District Road. It is 6 miles from Settle and 1.25 miles from Clapham (North Yorkshire) Rail Station.

The inn was built in 1745 and has many original features including a wood burning stove. The en suite rooms include a TV, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

A full English breakfast is available each day and the New Inn also has a guests' lounge.

The Inn has a restaurant and 2 bars and a contemporary food menu is served daily. A selection of locally sourced real ales, local gins and good wine. There is also a beer garden.
