About Romantik Hotel Zum Klosterbräu

Nestled in Neuburg’s Bergen district, Hotel Zum Klosterbräu treats every guest to scenic vistas of either the Bergen Abbey Gardens or the sprawling Altmühltal Nature Park.

The spacious rooms at Romantik Hotel Zum Klosterbräu are decked out with wooden flooring and furnishings, each bright retreat featuring a flat-screen TV and a marble-style private bathroom.

Dine on hearty Bavarian specialties in the historic Zum Klosterbräu restaurant, while breakfast and afternoon pastries are served in the former malting barn with lovely views over the abbey’s tranquil gardens.

The Upper Bavarian landscape around here is a haven for hikers and cyclists, including the well-trodden St James’ Way. The abbey grounds boast an orchard and a small paddock, and on-site facilities include a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a steam bath.

Downtown Neuburg and the Danube River sit just an 8-minute drive away, while Ingolstadt is reachable in about 25 minutes by car. The A9 motorway is located 30 km from the property.

Couples are especially fond of the setting, rating it 8.9 out of 10 for a two-person getaway.

Our overall score combines reviews from our booking partners, summarised in our own words, with reviews written directly on Housity. Every review shows where it comes from.

Partner reviews: only guests who completed a stay through one of our booking partners can review there. We read those reviews and summarise them in our own words, so they are not word-for-word quotes and we don't show guest names. The score shown is the property's score on that partner's site; when several partners …
