Situated right in the heart of Devizes, The Bear puts you within a two-minute walk of local shops and restaurants. Each room comes with complimentary Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, while the relaxed Bear Grills Bistro serves dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.
Ales brewed just 150 metres away are brought to The Bear Hotel by horse and cart and poured in its snug bars. The 14th-century cellar bar is soundproofed and hosts live music every week.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and peaceful canal-side walks along the Kennet and Avon Canal are just five minutes away on foot. Free private parking is available.
The bistro features blue panelled walls and a large open fire, serving freshly made burgers, char-grilled steaks, vegetarian options, and a diverse children’s menu.
Couples especially love the location—they rated it 9.6 for a two-person trip.
