The View

The View Restaurant celebrates the very best of our county, from local produce to local landscapes. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows with stylish decor that pays homage to our heritage; The View is a chic yet relaxed space to admire the oh so spectacular scenery of the Dales and our very own lake. Choose to breathe in the fresh Yorkshire air and enjoy the breath-taking views in our brand new all-year-round alfresco dining area or cosy up next to our centrepiece open fire. Our menu includes contemporary classics you know and love such as, Crispy Duck & Yorkshire Chorizo Salad and Steak Frites, using the incredible produce on our doorstep. A true taste of Yorkshire!

Macleod’s Bar & Lounge

Macleod's Bar & Lounge is the perfect place to relax and refresh and is open to both residents and non-residents alike. Boasting a well-stocked bar, a mouth-watering menu and, of course, the warm and welcoming atmosphere that The Coniston prides itself on, Cosy up with an afternoon coffee, chill out and cheer on your team watching live sport or indulge with a pre or post-dinner treat and tipple!

Blossom Kitchen

Proud of its landscape and location, Blossom Kitchen is a coming together of nature, nutrition, culture and cuisine. Making use of the wonderful local produce on our doorstep, fusing outstanding Yorkshire ingredients with an Asian flair, Blossom Kitchen will excite the palette, be nutritionally balanced with, of course, room to indulge!

Buckle up in one of our vehicles from our brand new Land Rover and Range Rover fleet and take to the tracks to try out Yorkshire's famously rugged landscape first hand, from grassy hills to rock crawls and even water crossings: all with breath-taking views. Our fantastic track set-up combined with our highly-trained, off-road experts, makes us to perfect choice for driving experiences, family days out, corporate team-building and more!

The Coniston Shooting Ground

One of the best shooting grounds in the country, The Coniston Shooting Ground was awarded Premier Plus Ground status by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association. The breath-taking Canadian lodge is home to an open log fire – perfect to warm up next to in the winter months. Whether you are a member or visiting for an experience, you will be made very welcome by Peter and his team.

Fishing on The Coniston Estate

Take a step out of the rigours of day to day life and unwind at the waterside of our stunning 24 acre lake. Whether you are an expert angler and know a Hares-Ear from a Hawthorne or a total beginner, we are ready to cater to all your possible needs.
