The Izaak Walton Country House Hotel

You can go fishing in one of Derbyshire's finest trout streams, the River Dove, which is just 200 metres away and was made famous in "The Complete Angler". Scenic walks are possible in the surrounding Peak District countryside. The historic market town of Ashbourne is a 10-minute drive away and Alton Towers Theme Park is 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Haddon Hall and the historic Chatsworth House are a 25-minute drive away. Please note that although the hotel is dog friendly, they are only accepted in certain rooms and a maximum of 2 dogs in those rooms.
