About The Wilderness Inn: Chalets

Each chalet at The Wilderness Inn includes its own bathroom, garden outlook, and all the modern comforts you’d expect. You’ll get a full kitchen, a dedicated dining area, and snug seating to unwind after the day.

Outside, there’s a lovely garden and terrace where you can take it easy, warm up by the outdoor fire, or make use of the picnic tables and outdoor lounging spots. WiFi is free everywhere on the grounds.

For convenience, check-in and check-out are quick and simple, and you’ll find barbecue gear, ski storage, and free private parking right on site. Every chalet also comes with a tea and coffee setup, a fridge, and a TV.

You’re just 18 km from Lake Placid, 14 km from Whiteface Mountain, and 44 km from Adirondack Regional Airport. Fishing, skiing, hiking, and cycling are all easy to get to from here, and guests often talk up the location and the cozy fireplace.

Our overall score combines reviews from our booking partners, summarised in our own words, with reviews written directly on Housity. Every review shows where it comes from.

Partner reviews: only guests who completed a stay through one of our booking partners can review there. We read those reviews and summarise them in our own words, so they are not word-for-word quotes and we don't show guest names. The score shown is the property's score on that partner's site; when several partners …
