At 02:00 A.M., we commence our journey, picking up clients from their hotel in Chillihuani. Our expedition begins approximately two-and-a-half hours later, traversing a scenic route to reach the picturesque town of Chillihuani at an elevation of 4,600 meters above sea level.
The ascent continues to the Color Mountain Viewpoint, which sits at an altitude of 5,010 meters above sea level. As dawn breaks, we witness the breathtaking sight of the mountain illuminated by its first rays, showcasing its distinct hues.
We then proceed to the Red Valley, an extraordinary natural spectacle that offers a surreal experience akin to walking on Mars. This enchanting destination awaits us, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the Red Valley and the awe-inspiring Ausangate Snowfall Mountains.
Upon arrival at the summit, we indulge in a delightful breakfast atop the highest peak, enjoying stunning vistas of both the Red Valley and the majestic mountain range backdrop. Following our meal, we prepare to make our descent back to the charming city of Cusco.
Our final leg of the journey concludes at around 11:30 A.M., when we drop off our guests at their hotel in Cusco, marking the successful conclusion of our memorable adventure through the Andes.
