Prepare for an exciting adventure! Following a brief drive, we'll reach the Walkways and have the opportunity to traverse one of the world's longest suspension bridges, the impressive 516 Arouca. This remarkable structure spans 516m (1,692ft) across the valley and suspends 175m (576ft) above the Paiva river.

Afterward, embark on a scenic descent along the Paiva Walkways, covering a total length of 7km. The wooden boardwalk zigzags downhill along the left bank of the river, offering breathtaking views.

Don't forget to pack your swimsuit! Midway through the trail, you'll discover Vau beach. Enjoy some leisure time to dive and swim or simply dip your feet into the pristine waters of the Paiva river.

Following the walk, we'll delve into another noteworthy part of our day: lunch! Indulge in a delectable meal at a charming, traditional restaurant. Whether you prefer meat, fish, or vegetarian options, there's something to suit every palate.

Post-lunch, our exploration continues with a visit to Arouca, offering insights into local culture and history. We will visit the monastery and of course, to sweeten the experience, we'll indulge in a tasting of convent sweets, intricately linked to the Arouca Monastery.
