Schotia Private Game Reserve adjoins the renowned Addo Elephant National Park. Our team of certified safari guides operates in our state-of-the-art open 4x4 vehicles, ensuring an unparalleled wildlife experience for guests.

After tea or coffee, we undertake an afternoon safari aboard our open game drive vehicles. Our objective is to locate our renowned elephant population alongside a diverse array of wildlife, including various antelope species.

We venture into the reserve to observe herds of plains zebras and red hartebeests. Should luck be on our side, we might also encounter hippos sunning themselves in mud pools.

Our tour includes spotting giraffes wandering across the savannahs, along with curious rhinos that stand out from the rest of the wildlife. Lions add a thrilling element to our experience, with their powerful roars echoing through the African night sky, illuminated by the vibrant oranges cast by the setting sun.

Following this, we indulge in a traditional South African meal prepared over open flames within the bush. Before concluding the day's activities, we engage in an evening safari aimed at tracking nocturnal creatures like hyenas, porcupines, and aardwolves.
