Departing from Castro's Porto Vecchio, we shall proceed northward. Initially, we shall encounter the Grotta Palombara, renowned for its distinctive triangular entrance. Subsequently, we will navigate towards the captivating Grotta Azzurra, whose waters boast an intense azure hue. Upon reaching our next destination, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the awe-inspiring Zinzulusa Cave, aptly named due to its characteristic stalactite formations resembling ragged garments, known as "zinzuli" within the local vernacular. Following this excursion, our skipper will transport us to the picturesque Porto Miggiano Inlet, offering a breathtaking vista of crystal-clear marine life.
Upon returning to the vessel, we shall continue our journey towards Santa Cesarea Terme, passing near its famous sulphurous springs. As we embark upon our return voyage, we shall be afforded the opportunity to marvel at an ancient watchtower situated in Porto Miggiano before reemerging into the port of Castro.
