Ceres, Zip-lining in the Mountains

The Koekedouw River is situated within the verdant mountains that encircle the enchanting Ceres Valley. Just over an hour’s drive from Cape Town, this retreat offers respite from the bustling urban environment. This excursion grants visitors the opportunity to engage in eight exhilarating zip lines, each spanning a distance of approximately 1.4 kilometers. The breathtaking geological features and river provide an idyllic setting for this high-energy adventure.

Participants will be outfitted in comprehensive safety gear, including advanced equipment, ensuring their well-being throughout the journey. The experienced guides will lead them aboard a specially designed zipline bus as they ascend roughly 5 kilometers into the mountains. Upon descending the main road and traversing suburban Ceres, guests can appreciate the picturesque townscape before reaching their designated location. From here, the action begins.

Each slide varies in length, ranging from 100 meters to 291 meters, culminating in the highest elevation of around 40 meters above sea level. The duration of the tour is contingent upon the group size but typically lasts between one and one and a half hours, providing ample time for excitement and exploration.
