Upon arrival at your hotel, guests will be transported to the Cotopaxi National Park. As they proceed on the winding road, visitors will have the opportunity to admire panoramic vistas at elevations exceeding 4,500 meters above sea level.

The hiking expedition commences as participants make their way toward the José Rivas Refuge, where they will pause at various viewpoint stops to appreciate the breathtaking natural landscapes before reaching the Limpiopungo Lagoon. This serene lake boasts crystal-clear waters that mirror the surroundings and sky, creating an enchanting reflection effect. During the journey, guests might encounter elusive creatures such as Andean foxes, deer, and adorable bunnies. Additionally, bird enthusiasts will have ample opportunities to observe species including the Cara Cara Curiquinde, Andean gulls, and coots, among others, guided by knowledgeable guides.

A mandatory guide service, costing an additional $60 per person for the entire group, should be noted. Throughout the hike, there will be numerous photo opportunities showcasing the lush forested areas, towering mountains, and dramatic ravine scenes, providing striking visual experiences. Participants may choose to dine on traditional Ecuadorian cuisine during their break for sustenance, which will be served at a designated location.
