Discover the ancient Roman city of Italica during a guided day trip from Seville. Embark on a journey via a comfortable and air-conditioned van, exploring the region's rich history.

Start your adventure in Santiponce, located just north of Seville. This charming village marks the site of one of the most significant and extensive Roman ruins in Spain. Proceed towards Italica, an archaeological wonder that boasts a substantial number of preserved ruins dating back to the year 206 BC under the guidance of General Publius Cornelius Scipio.

Navigate through the bustling streets of Italica, which served as a military settlement for wounded soldiers from the Battle of Ilipa. Marvel at the birthplace of Marcus Ulpius Trajan (53 AD), followed by his successor, Aelius Hadrian (76 AD).

As you explore these historical sites, marvel at the magnificent Amphitheatrum Flavium, one of the largest in the Roman Empire, capable of accommodating over 25,000 spectators. Step into the narrow tunnels where gladiators once traversed, while standing in awe of the arena housing the fierce beasts.

Travel further to the Monasterio de San Isidoro del Campo, a testament to the medieval era. This impressive structure showcases the architectural styles of the Mudejar, Gothic, and Baroque periods.

Upon reaching your departure point in Seville, return to your initial location at the conclusion of the tour.
