Our journey begins with a visit to the ancient fortress Smrden grad, the fortress was built in the Middle Ages, and is located along the important road that connected the Neretva valley with Dubrovnik. After viewing the fort, we head towards the delta of the Neretva River, where you can enjoy and experience sandy beaches, kite surfing, and beach bars, on our way there we will stop at stand with fresh fruit and juices for wich this area is well known for.
We can end our trip in one of the well-known Neretva restaurants where you can enjoy delicacies native to this area, or by going to nearby Ston - a small town known for the walls that surround it and the century-old saltworks that still produces salt in the traditional way.
