Once our driver picks you up from your hotel, you head up towards Essaouira. The driving is about 2 hours and a half, with few stops on the way. What makes a private trip a better choice than going with a group of people is that you can choose whether to stop on the way or not, and the same is true for returning time.

People going to Essaouira usually stop twice: one for breakfast on the way and a visit to an Argan oil cooperative where Berber women produce Argan oil, and the second stop will be at the Argan tree sight, where you see the goats on trees (sometimes no goats on trees because the authorities do not allow that as it is an abuse for the animals). So you have the right to choose either to stop in these places or go straight to Essaouira to gain some more time there.

Once you arrive in Essaouira, the driver lets you go and choose the places you want to visit. Essaouira is not really a big place that needs a guide. So it is not really recommended to pay for a local guide, as they don't really explain things as expected, so just go for a tour yourself (more advices will be sent to you when you book the tour)

At the end of the day, it is time to come back to Marrakech with a few stops on the way, this time just for a little dring on the way, or you can choose to skip this.
