Come with us on a full-day private tour from Kutaisi to the ancient & current capital of Georgia. You will start your trip in the morning when our guide will meet you at your Kutaisi hotel.

The first stop will be in Surami, a historical town with an ancient fortress from the 2nd century BC, you will pass by the Surami fortress and listen to the legends about it (locals say it's haunted!). Continue to taste the local specialty found only here - the delicious "Nazuki" sweet bread, baked on a wood fire.

Your next destination is the cradle of Christianity in Georgia - Mtskheta and Jvari church.
In Mtskheta, you will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, and learn about precious religious artifacts that are kept here. At the VIth century Jvari church, you will visit the small church from the first centuries of Christianity in Georgia from here you have a beautiful river panorama.

In Tbilisi, you'll wander through the streets of Old Tbilisi, take a cable car to the Narikala fortress, see the hudge Mother of Georgia statue, visit the historical Metekhi church, see the modern architectural bridge of Peace, and walk at the famous Abanotubani sulfur bath district with Leghvtakhevi Waterfall, where you will learn a legend of the "Tbilisi" name.

After enjoying delicious lunch at a Georgian restaurant, you will come back to Kutaisi. (Exact lunchtime can be agreed together with your guide according to your preferences).
