8:30-9:00 am arrival at Lake Cecita, the largest lake
albeit artificial, of Calabria. Short stop overlooking the lake to
then head to the nearby Cupone Visitor Center, among the
best centers for environmental education, surrounded by
greenery and with several excursion possibilities. Place
also ideal for children and accessible to the disabled with
special trails suitable for everyone.
At about 1:30 pm, after a picnic surrounded by nature,
we proceed directly to Lorica.
About 2:30 p.m. Arrival at Lake Arvo, an artificial lake,
created for water supply and now part
integral part of the landscape.
About 3:30 p.m. Ride on the boat crossing the lake and
enjoying an exciting view. (May, June,
