Geiranger, Zipline Park Experience

Geiranger, Norway

Explore Geiranger AS

Embark on an exhilarating adventure by crossing the Geiranger River via a thrilling zipline, offering panoramic views of the breathtaking fjord scenery. Marvel at the dynamic beauty of the Dynamite Waterfall, immerse yourself in a lush natural forest, and safely traverse the picturesque Nepalese bridge across the river.

To commence the activity, enter the park and proceed to the ticket office. Following this, receive a concise safety briefing to acquaint yourself with the operation of the zipline. Subsequently, embark upon the Via Ferrata, a safeguarded path featuring four Nepalese bridges and four dual zip lines. Traverse these aerial paths while maintaining coordination with fellow participants.

Marvel at the panoramic vistas encompassing the gorges, rivers, and cascading waterfalls within this renowned UNESCO-protected landscape. Engage in a leisurely stroll alongside the Geiranger River, crossing over one of its ancient Nepalese bridges as part of the initial segment of the route. Proceed to the subsequent portion of the journey, where a more straightforward ascent awaits on the right-hand side, whereas choosing to undertake a more strenuous hike would yield a greater challenge.

Finish off the Via Ferrata by traversing the river once more, this time positioned upstream of the Dynamite Waterfall. Admire the spectacle of the waterfall up close and traverse through a dense deciduous forest. Finally, retrace your steps back to the initial point. Delve into the historical context of zipline usage throughout the 19th century, which facilitated the conveyance of food and goods.

If desired, allocate additional time to explore the remainder of the park. Alternatively, depart for your accommodations post-completion of the zipline experience.
