Lunahuaná & Cerro Azul Day Trip

Explore the natural beauty and rich culture of Lunahuaná and Cerro Azul during this adventurous day trip, featuring a thrilling river rafting experience along the Cañete River.

On the designated day between 5 am and 6:20 am, guests will be picked up from various meeting points situated in Lima. Upon boarding the minibus, travelers will commence their journey southward for approximately two hours, ultimately reaching the city of Mala. At this point, breakfast will be available upon request.

Subsequently, the group will resume their route towards Cerro Azul, where visitors will enjoy two hours of leisurely exploration. This area offers numerous opportunities for shopping, including artisanal markets, as well as access to the beach or promenade.

Upon arriving in Cerro Azul, participants will have ample opportunity to capture memorable photographs of the site. Following this, there will be an exciting adventure ahead – a thrilling rapids rafting excursion on the Cañete River. Participants will don their gear and prepare for an adrenaline-fueled experience.

Post-activity, the group will make their way back to dry land and embark on a guided tour of Lunahuaná. Highlights during this segment include visiting the central square and church, followed by a scenic view overlooking the Cañete Valley from a natural observation platform.

Lunch will be served after the tour concludes. In the late afternoon, the party will proceed to the La Reina de Lunahuaná wine estate, where guests will engage in a fascinating insight into the winemaking process and sample local beverages such as wines and piscos. A short visit to a nearby beekeeping facility will also provide insights into traditional honey production techniques.

The evening will conclude with a return trip to Lima, expected to arrive around 9 pm.
