Ensure to secure your return train ticket, as departure from Ollantaytambo is scheduled for that same day.

Upon reaching the station in Ollantaytambo, Alpaca Expeditions staff will facilitate your transportation back to Cusco, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Day 2: Exploring Machu Picchu and Return Journey

Rise early today to witness the captivating sunrise at Machu Picchu. Your guided visit by an expert English-speaking Alpaca Expeditions guide will last approximately two hours, offering insights into the rich history and cultural significance of the site.

Post your informative tour, allow ample time for independent exploration of Machu Picchu. Should you possess a ticket for Huayna Picchu, allocate time for its ascent, which spans approximately an hour and a half round-trip.
