(Exclusive for whom choose the Meal plan) Join the tour from Nagoya VIP Liner Bus Stop and get on the way towards Takayama & Shirakawago aboard a comfortable air-conditioned bus. Upon reaching Takayama, you'll have the opportunity to explore this captivating town, known as the gateway to the Japanese Alps. At your own expense, delve into the charm of Takayama's Sanmachi Suji District, a trio of streets nestled in the heart of the Edo town. These streets boast a delightful array of traditional houses, shops, restaurants, sake breweries, and cafes. The adventure continues to the renowned Shirakawa-go, renowned for its ancient gassho-zukuri (thatched-roof) style houses nestled amidst the mountains. Surrounded by serene rice paddies.Isolated for a significant period, these villages,showcase the unique Gassho-style houses, distinguished by their steeply pitched thatched roofs. As part of your experience, savor a delectable Japanese-style teppanyaki set lunch at the renowned Koshiyama restaurant in Shirakawa-go. Stopping at the Koshiyama restaurant in Shirakawago for a Japanese-style teppanyaki set lunch made of the local specialty 'Hidagyuu' beef or chose Oden lunch. **In the winter, snowfall may occasionally lead to road closures to Shirakawa-go. In the event of road closures, we will seamlessly transition to a captivating substitute journey, taking you to the picturesque town of Gujo Hachiman, known as the 'Little Kyoto of Gifu.' Immerse yourself in the charm of its historic streets adorned with traditional buildings. Alternative Itinerary 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Explore the historic streets of Takayama, featuring the renowned Miyagawa Morning Market, one of Japan's three great morning markets. 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Discover the alluring charm of Gujo Hachiman, with its beautiful castle town and pristine waters. Visit either Gujo Hachiman Castle or the Hachiman Exhibition Hall (additional cost for entry). 6:00 PM: Conclude your journey as we return to Nagoya Station.
