Private Day Trip to UNESCO World Heritage Sites

Explora Armenia

Enjoy private day trip to one of the most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Cathedral of Etchmiadzin and the Archaeological Site of Zvartnots. Admire the best view of the biblical Mount Ararat

Saint Hripsime Church

Get ready in order to explore:
Khor Virap Monastery, which means “deep dungeon”, is one of the most important sanctuaries of Armenians. Its history is closely linked to the religious and cultural history of Armenia. The monastery is located at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat, where according to the Old Testament, after the Universal Flood Noah's Ark had run aground. Mount Ararat is the greatest symbol of Armenia and all Armenians around the world.
Etchmiadzin Cathedral - the religious center for all the Armenian. Armenia was the first country in the world to adopt Christianity as a state religion in 301. The cathedral was listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2000.
Hripsime Church, listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, was built by the order of the Catholicos Komitas in 618. The legend of Hripsime dates from the early days of Christianity. Hripsimeh fled to Armenia to escape persecution by the Roman Emperor Diocletian. A beautiful but totally devoted follower of Christ, Hripsime refused to marry the pagan Armenian King Trdat III and chose the death of a martyr. A small chapel was erected over the spot where she was murdered. In the 7th century a wondrous church — a masterpiece of Armenian architecture — was built in its place by order of Catholicos Komitas.
Also, you will visit Zvartnots Cathedral, one of the medieval Armenian cathedrals built in the seventh century. The ruins of Zvartnots Temple are designated by Unesco as World Heritage Site.
