Rotorua, Guided Zipline Adventure Tour with Photos

Rotorua Canopy Tours

Explore the canopies of New Zealand's forests on this exciting guided zipline adventure. Cross swing bridges and fly through the air. See unique wildlife including geckos, birds, and blue mushrooms.

Mount Ngongotaha Scenic Reserve

Join in a small-group zipline tour that will have you soaring through Rotorua's forest canopy. Switch between the six zipline cables suspended 22 meters above the ground and see the forest from a different perspective. When you arrive at the base, you'll receive a warm welcome from the front office team.
Check-in and meet your down-to-earth highly experienced Kiwi guides who will kit you out with all the necessary equipment for the day's weather. A quick 10-minute van ride and you'll arrive at the Dansey Road Scenic Reserve. Your guides will share fascinating New Zealand eco-tour knowledge with your group, which is limited to just 10 people.

Enter a secret forest location and walk the pre-historic walkway into a new world. Stop along the way and learn about the forest you’re in, the native inhabitants, and the conservation efforts to protect it.

Head further into the forest and launch off for the first zipline. Say goodbye to the ground for a while as you explore from the canopy. Discover the world's largest tree ferns, cross swing bridges, and breathe clean forest air.

See unique scenery including blue mushrooms, forest geckos, fruits, and berries and you may even get the chance to hand-feed a wild bird, depending on the season and the weather.
