Cholitas wrestling is an engaging spectacle featuring female aerialists who perform thrilling shows. These aerialists dress in traditional attire, adorned with characteristic hats, shirts, shawls, long skirts (known as polleras), and fashionable footwear, creating a visually stunning display for audiences.

Cholitas Luchadoras, an esteemed spectacle located in Alto City at an elevation of 4,100 meters above sea level, captivate audiences through their engaging performances. These traditional women's aerial shows feature flight-trained performers who skillfully navigate the skies, embodying the essence of rural life while showcasing vibrant attire adorned with characteristic hats, shirts with shawls, and long skirts known as polleras. This cultural celebration takes place within the vast expanse of La Paz Department, offering a unique blend of indigenous heritage and modern entertainment. Each week, families and friends eagerly await these enchanting displays on Thursdays and Sundays, creating a festive atmosphere that seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary flair.

During the event, participants depart from their accommodations at 4:00 PM, accompanied by a dedicated vehicle that ascends to the Ciudad del Alto, where the Coliseum awaits them. Upon arrival, spectators have the opportunity to witness the captivating show lasting approximately two hours. Following the performance, guests are transported back to the heart of La Paz at 8:00 PM, ensuring a seamless journey throughout the day.
