The journey commences at 4:00 p.m., upon arrival at your accommodation in Puerto Maldonado. Subsequently, our vessel departs for the exploration of the Tambopata River, where a reflective device will facilitate visibility during both daylight and nighttime. Our expedition will encompass an examination of the riverbanks, aiming to identify various species of caiman, including those with prominent eyesight. During the evening hours, we shall have the opportunity to observe larger adult caiman specimens measuring up to one meter in length, accompanied by smaller juvenile individuals. Additionally, we may encounter numerous snake varieties, avian inhabitants, capybara fauna, nocturnal bat populations, as well as other endemic jungle creatures.
