Journey to MachuPicchu

Experience the breathtaking natural beauty of this unique landscape, featuring towering cacti, bizarre rock formations, vibrant lagoons, and an array of extraordinary landscapes that surround this magnificent salt flat.

Description

On Day 1:

- Pick-up services commence at the designated location—either at your accommodation in Uyuni or at the Uyuni bus terminal—accompanied by a 4x4 vehicle for four individuals. Proceeding towards the Uyuni salt flats, we traverse the vicinity of the train cemetery and the village of Colchani, where local handicrafts can be purchased.

Upon entering the salt flats, we visit the Salt Museum. Following this, we embark on a journey to Incahuasi Island, an extraordinary calcareous rock formation nestled within the heart of the salt flats. Here, we undertake a walking trail, marvel at the towering giant cacti, and enjoy panoramic views of the salt flats from atop the hilltop.

Our day concludes with a breathtaking sunset viewing, followed by transportation to the hostel for dinner and overnight accommodations.

On Day 2:

- Commence the morning with a hearty breakfast at the salt lodge. Our itinerary then transports us to the Ollague volcano viewpoint, offering a mesmerizing panorama of the volcanic desert and sparse high-altitude vegetation.

Next, we explore Chiarkota lagoon, Laguna Hedionda (due to its pungent sulfur scent), Onda lagoon, and Ramaditas lagoon, each surrounded by vibrant flamingos engaged in feeding and resting activities throughout the day. Post-lunch, we move onto the Siloli desert, encountering the stone tree—a peculiar rocky formation. Proceeding further, we reach Laguna Colorada, renowned for its striking red hues. Continuing along our route, we finally arrive in the town of Huayllajara, where we partake in dinner and subsequently stay in a basic lodging arrangement.

On Day 3:

- Dawn breaks early, leading us to witness the Sunrise Geysers, characterized by their intense thermal activity at a scorching 90°C. These geysers provide ample opportunities for photography amidst the dramatic contrast between light and steam. Following this, we visit the Polques hot springs, enjoying a rejuvenating soak based on the duration of the tour.

Subsequently, we encounter the Salvador Dalí Desert, exploring Laguna Verde and the Green Lagoon alongside the White Lagoon, situated beneath the feet of the Licancabur volcano.
