Dating from the 13th century, the Augustinerkloster is a peaceful monastery located in the centre of Gotha. It provides basic yet modern rooms, a café and a historic library.
Guests at the monastery can take time out to visit the Augustine Church and Sacristy, both of which date back to the late 13th century. The library includes a selection of 1,500-year-old books, and can be visited after registration.
