Il Colombarone

Set in an ancient farmhouse at the foot of the Montemoria Provincial Park, Il Colombarone offers panoramic views of Piacenza and the ancient Roman Town of Velleia. It boasts a garden and a library. All suites have parquet floors and a mix of antique and modern furnishings.

The suites have a flat-screen TV, a sofa, and a hairdryer. Some have a designer bath tub and views of the valley and Piacenza.

Local cakes, cold cuts and cheese are served at breakfast in he dining room. You can also request local dishes for lunch and/or dinner.

Between mid June and mid July the Teatro Antico festival takes place in the ruins of Velleia Romana, 500 metres from B&B Il Colombarone. The international Silver Flag rally takes place in Vernasca, 3 miles away.
