Lagan Backpackers

Located right in the heart of Belfast, Lagan Backpackers is a well-equipped hostel offering free parking and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Late check-in between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM is only possible by prior arrangement and requires that you choose the prepayment option so we can prepare for your arrival.

If you're booking for a group of 10 or more people, please get in touch with us through our website, Belfast Lagan Backpackers. Bookings made without prior contact may be refused. A 30% deposit is required to secure the reservation, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. A refundable security deposit of £20 per person is payable on arrival and will be returned after your room is inspected and our house rules are followed. You’ll receive full details after making your booking.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is intoxicated upon check-in, does not have a fixed address, cannot provide valid card details, or is involved in any illegal activity such as drug use. We may also request a security deposit in case of damage or breach of house rules. If a booking is refused for any of these reasons, the payment made will not be refunded.

Access to the property and all rooms is via keypad entry and stairs only.

Dormitory rooms feature bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities. Lagan Backpackers offers both mixed dorms and private rooms.

We also provide barbecue facilities, a communal living room, free tea and coffee, plus a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

Our hostel is just a 10-minute walk from Belfast city centre. Belfast Botanical Gardens and Ormeau Park are both within a 5-minute walk on either side of the River Lagan.

Guests must present a valid ID (passport or driving licence) and a payment card upon arrival.
