Nestled in a town often described as "Natural Passion," Doce Canela - Pousada de Charme offers a tranquil retreat surrounded by lush greenery. Our quiet, wooded setting gives you a taste of the serene stay that awaits. We’ve designed every detail to help you unwind and reconnect with nature, with a garden that gets special care—knowing it’s exactly what our guests are looking for. Blooming trees and colorful flowers draw in birds and butterflies, weaving a peaceful atmosphere around the property.

The main house dates back to 1981, originally built for a traditional local family. It once served as the backdrop for a Globo special with Renato Aragão. Warmth, hospitality, and a touch of glamour are woven into our very essence.

In 2008, the property changed hands, was carefully restored, and expanded before reopening as a pousada in 2010. Inspired by classic Provençal style, we looked to the best of southern France to shape each room with its own character. The layout, divided into separate blocks, adds a sense of intimacy, giving you privacy and space for family time. All the amenities you need for a comfortable stay are here.

Each morning, our full breakfast brings back the flavors of the regional coffees that reflect the cultures who once settled this land.
