Ruthin Castle Hotel and Spa

Ruthin Castle Hotel and Spa offers a retreat steeped in history and nestled in acres of parkland. Next to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Wales, the castle dates back to 1277. It boasts exquisite dining, a cooked Welsh breakfast, and a distinctive spa. All rooms are individually styled using contemporary décor and all include a modern en suite bathroom. Every room has at least 1 flat-screen TV and some feature a large standalone bath and a four-poster bed. Situated beside the rustic woodland grounds of the castle's moat, the spa offers a selection of treatments. Guests can also enjoy a calming relaxation area and thermal suite, with a sauna and steam room. The English town of Chester is less than a 40-minute drive away and so is the start of the M53 Motorway. Gwydyr Forest Park is 20 miles west of the hotel and 20 miles south of that lies the Snowdonia National Park. Note: access to the spa facilities must be pre-booked, a charge applies for residents and is restricted to guests aged 16 years and over (if accompanied by an adult).
