Nestled between the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes, Tenorio Lodge offers two relaxing hot tubs and complimentary on-site parking, all just 12 km from Tenorio Volcano National Park and the famous Rio Celeste River.

The bungalows here are roomy and come with sweeping volcano views, fitted with queen- or king-sized beds, ceiling fans, cozy sitting spots, and private bathrooms with warm water on tap.

Every morning kicks off with breakfast, while the restaurant serves up international fare for lunch or dinner, and the bar and terrace are perfect for sipping drinks at your leisure.

For a bit of adventure, you can rent bicycles or head out on horseback through the nearby Bijagua Valley (only 3 km away), spotting birds, learning about local trees, and finishing with a soothing soak in one of our cedar hot tubs.

Both Cano Negro and Palo Verde parks are about 90 minutes away for day trips, and Rincon de la Vieja is a similar distance. If you're flying in, Liberia Airport is just an hour's drive from the lodge.
