The Acorn Inn

The Acorn Inn is an award-winning 16th-century inn with a restaurant which has received accolades from Condé Nast Traveller and the Sunday Telegraph. It offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in Dorset, with modern conveniences and rustic period style in the form of wooden beams, flagstone floors and open fires.

All rooms at The Acorn have en suite bathrooms or shower rooms, with TV, tea and coffee facilities and free Wi-Fi. Furnishings are lavish and rooms are named from Thomas Hardy's 'Tess of the d'Urbervilles’, in which the inn was mentioned as 'The Sow and Acorn'.
