Nestled on the hillside between the Valdarno and Chianti valleys, Villa Barberino is a 14th-century estate offering beautifully tended gardens, upscale accommodations, and sweeping countryside views.
Each guest unit showcases authentic character, including exposed wooden beams and period furnishings. Apartments come with a full kitchen or compact kitchenette, and select rooms feature air conditioning.
Guests stay across several historic structures that make up this expansive country property, once part of the grounds of Barberino Castle. There’s an outdoor pool to enjoy, and complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible in the shared spaces.
The on-site restaurant, Il Tributo, occupies the castle’s original dining halls and serves classic Tuscan dishes. In warmer months, you can also dine outside.
San Giovanni Valdarno Train Station is just 8 km away, offering easy connections to Florence and Arezzo. With direct access from the A1 Motorway, the villa also serves as an excellent base for exploring the Chianti wine region.
The staff are always glad to provide helpful tips on sightseeing and travel logistics.
