Whitestone Cottage

Whitestone Cottage in Culzean was the birthplace of Robert Burns' mother, Agnes Broun, in 1732. It is just 800 metres from the entrance of Culzean Castle and Country Park, where Robert Burns' grandfather was a woodcutter.

Rooms have a private entrance and feature a TV and DVD Player. Some units have a seating area for your convenience.

The Open Plan Suite has an open plan self-catering kitchenette. There are a choice of local places to dine out in Kirkoswald, Maybole and Maidens.

Trump Turnberry Resort with its iconic golf courses is only 6 miles away. The cottage is surrounded by forest and is only a one mile woodland walk to the beach. Then a further half a mile walk to Culzean Castle and Country Park along the beach where there are panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde to Arran, Ailsa Craig and Mull of Kintyre.

Activities such as walking and biking can be enjoyed on site and in the area. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is 20 miles away.
