Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu

Upon arriving in Chengdu, guests will be met by a designated escort team who will assist them with their luggage and guide them to their accommodation.

If there is sufficient time available, visitors may choose to explore the bustling streets of Chengdu, enjoying traditional snacks, experiencing vibrant folk performances, and appreciating the dynamic atmosphere of this vibrant metropolis.

Day 2: Chengdu - Dujiangyan - Mount. Siguniang

After settling into their accommodations, guests will embark on an exciting journey to Dujiangyan, one of the world’s oldest and most intact water management systems. Upon reaching the site, they will learn about its historical significance and how it has evolved over centuries.

Following a guided tour of Dujiangyan, travelers will proceed to Mount. Siguniang, located just north of Dujiangyan. The ascent offers breathtaking views and provides an opportunity to connect with nature amidst the scenic landscapes.

Day 3: Mount. Siguniang - Danba

On Day 3, after breakfast, guests will begin their trek to Danba. Enjoying the serene mornings and exploring the lush valleys surrounding Mount. Siguniang, guests will marvel at the picturesque vistas and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area.

For lunch, they will arrive at Zhonglu Tibetan Village, where they can witness the grandeur of the sunset alongside tranquil rural settings. Following the meal, the group will travel another three hours to Danba.

Day 4: Danba - Yajiang

Embarking on Day 4, guests will spend the morning in Danba, indulging in peace and tranquility. They will then proceed to Yajiang, traveling approximately five hours via road. On arrival, guests will have the chance to admire the magnificent views of the cliffside village and sample the authentic stewed chicken prepared with tricholoma matsutake mushrooms.

Day 5: Yajiang - Daocheng - Riwa

Continuing onward, Day 5 sees guests heading towards Daocheng. As part of the journey, they will pass through Litang Temple, a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region. Afterward, they will drive for two and a half hours to Riwa.

In the evening, guests will participate in a ceremony led by monks at Chonggu Monastery, where they can experience the profound spiritual practices associated with prayer wheels.

The next day, guests will visit Shangri-La, known for its unique architecture and cultural traditions. A visit to Songzanlin Monastery in the morning will offer a glimpse into the religious life of Tibetans. Later, they will enjoy a leisurely stroll through the bustling market of Shangri-La.

Day 6: Shangri-La - Tiger Leaping Gorge

Day 6 begins with an early morning exploration of Shangri-La, starting at the iconic Songzanlin Monastery. Here, they will witness the sunrise illuminate the snowy peaks, creating a magical scene.

Later, they will venture to Tiger Leaping Gorge, a renowned hiking route recognized among the top ten worldwide. Guests can either hike along the gorge or relax in a café, savoring coffee while enjoying the panoramic views.

Day 7: Tiger Leaping Gorge - Lijiang

With excitement building, Day 7 concludes the trip with a journey back to Lijiang. After checking into their accommodations, guests will have the day free to explore the local culture and history.

In the evenings, they will indulge in local cuisine and dances, enhancing their cultural immersion during their stay.

Finally, on Day 8, guests will be transported to Lijiang Airport, marking the end of their memorable trip. Should guests wish to extend their stay in China, personalized tours can be arranged according to their preferences and interests.
