Continuing the journey, the group arrives at the tranquil Pampas of San Miguel, situated at an altitude of 3,300 meters, where they can enjoy a refreshing break with a well-deserved lunch. Following this respite, the trail continues through the charming towns of Cosñihua and Malata, stretching another 2.5 miles over the course of two hours. This arduous yet rewarding trek culminates in Sangalle, a verdant oasis nestled at 2,225 meters, where guests can unwind in the pool and savor a delicious meal under the starlit sky.

The subsequent morning offers a challenging ascent of 2.5 miles, leading to the enchanting town of Cabanaconde, located at 3,230 meters. Here, visitors can marvel at the vibrant colors of the local flora and fauna, including rare species like the Andean flamingos and guanacos. In the evening, travelers have the option to embark on a transfer to Puno aboard a regular bus departing from Chivay at 1:00 PM, arriving at the main square of Puno by 7:00 PM. Alternatively, those who prefer to stay closer to home may opt to return to Arequipa after completing their excursion.
