This scenic location, known for its 1300-foot-tall (390-meter-tall) Golden Whip Rock spanning nearly 6 miles (9 kilometers), captivated visitors with its picturesque beauty.
Following the exhilarating hike, guests were invited to sample authentic Chinese cuisine at a local restaurant, marking the conclusion of their first day in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The day's highlight concluded with a visit to Baofeng Lake, a man-made lake created in 1975 through the construction of a dam near the park. Despite being an artificial lake, the serene surroundings and rugged terrain continue to draw tourists from around the globe.
On the subsequent day, visitors embarked upon a unique experience as they ascended Yuanjiajie Mountain via the Hundred Dragons Elevator, standing at 1,200 feet (360 meters). The elevation allowed them ample time to explore the Southern Heavenly Pillar, an inspiration for the iconic "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain" scene featured in the movie Avatar.
