2 Days 1 Night Orangutan Trek Bukit Lawang

Explore the Gunung Leuser National Park at night, immersing yourself in its lush jungle surroundings.

Starting at 9:00 am, participants will embark on a six-to-seven-hour walk through the National Park, aimed at observing orangutans and other indigenous wildlife inhabiting the dense jungle environment. Upon arrival at the designated camping area around 4:00 pm, they will set up their tents near the riverbank, where guests may enjoy swimming under its serene waters while sipping coffee or tea accompanied by light snacks. Dinner is scheduled for approximately 6:00 pm, featuring Indonesian cuisine infused with Western flavors of spiciness. Following dinner, the group will engage in various jungle games, utilizing comfortable sleeping arrangements within spacious tents equipped with mattresses, pillows, and blankets.

The second day commences with an early morning meal before embarking on a journey to explore a waterfall if sufficient water levels permit. Should conditions necessitate alternative activities such as swimming or additional walks, these options are available. At approximately 1:00 pm, participants will return to the campsite, followed by a hearty lunch. Final preparations for departure from Bukit Lawang will commence, with traditional rafting being utilized for the remainder of the trip, concluding at around 2:00 pm.
